Grunt Rob and Grunt Andrew from Team Rocket crash onto the boat Noah and Brock are on. Grunt Rob sends out a Electric Elemental Magikarp, and demands that they want Noah and valuables. The people believe the Magikarp is useless and taunt it, but then it evolves into a Gyarados and attacks them. Britney sends out a Lapras to try to stop the Gyarados and tells her coworkers that Team Rocket isn't violent anymore. Everyone runs away and Brock tells Noah that he must stop the Gyarados by himself because Brock forgot his Pokemon. After the fight, Brittney begins to tell Noah more about his past, but Brock reminds her not to.

Strategy

The waves are infinite until you kill the Gyarados. The Gyarados shoots an Electric Ball that can hit the citizens or your Pokemon, instantly fainting them. To avoid this, you must switch the shielded Pokemon into the path of the Electric Ball. One recommendation is to bring Pokemon with the ability Volt Absorb or Lightning Rod because they are able to absorb the Electric Ball without a shield. Pokemon are also heading across the top of the map to carry the people away, so make sure you take them down too!

Use the team and formation in this picture: 2 Lanturn, Venusaur, Houndoom, Mew, Kingdra. You can now AFK farm in this level for elementals by using Pokemon with Volt Absorb and Lightning Rod!

Trivia

• The name of the attack that the Electric Gyarados uses is Electric Water Ball.
• When using Transform on the Electric Gyarados, you behave like it, which means that the Electric Water Ball will take out the people and destroy your pokemon.
